Up Coming Events

It has been very chaotic here at the kennel over the last few months.  Between the puppies and family visitors and participating in dog training classes and shows we have had very little free time on our hands.  However, now that all the little girls and guys have gone to their forever homes, and one little girl finding her forever home here at the kennel, things have slowed down to a calmer pace.  We should announce too that all our little ones are doing quite well in their forever homes and we wish their new pet parents all the best in the years to come.

Dalia is a little rock star.  We have had her out to a few events in the last couple of weeks and she has made us very proud.  At the Schapendoes booster held on July 9-10th at the London Canine Association Dog Show, Dalia won best female twice and best of breed once, as well as being the reserve female in the booster.  On July 22-24, Dalia was entered in at the UKC's events with the Maple Leaf Kennel Club.  Dalia won best in breed for all the shows, and won a second in group as well as a first in group.  We were so grateful for all the new friends we meet while at the show and cannot wait to meet up with them at future events.

In the upcoming weeks, we here at the kennel we will be preparing Dalia and Audrey for our 2nd Annual Specialty in Long Sault Ontario on August 26-29 and for another UKC show in Rockton Ontario on August 20-21.  Both girls are very excited to come along on these new adventures and love practicing for the big day.  Unfortunately we have to leave poor Millie behind to rest as she has had a rough go after having the puppies and has been retired.  She is quite happy now being our family pet.  We are hoping that by next year we will be showing her again in rally-o and obedience competitions.
